Steve Rotfeld Productions Earns Seven Daytime Emmy Nominations

Steve Rotfeld Productions block of E/I shows, Xploration Station, alongside its National Geographic Kids partnership series ‘Weird But True!’ received a combined seven Daytime Emmy nominations. The 48th annual Daytime Emmy Awards are scheduled to be announced via live stream on July 17 and July 18, 2021. Xploration Station is comprised of six half-hours, STEM-related series (science/technology/engineering/ math) that air in over 100 million homes nationwide, primarily on Fox TV stations. The following series were nominated in these categories:

Outstanding Education or Informational Series – Life 2.0

Outstanding Sound Mixing & Editing –Life 2.0

Outstanding Writing Team for a Non-Fiction Series – Life 2.0

Outstanding Writing Team for a Non-Fiction Series – Xploration Outer Space

Outstanding Sound Mixing & Editing –Xploration Outer Space

Outstanding Daytime Hosts – Weird But True!

Outstanding Art Direction – Weird But True!

All of the Xploration Station shows are produced and distributed by Steve Rotfeld Productions.

Weird But True!, produced in partnership with National Geographic Kids, originally aired on Xploration Station, and it currently airs on Disney+.

The seven nominations join the previous twenty-three nominations for SRP-produced Xploration Station, totaling 30 nominations and two Daytime Emmy Awards for the critically acclaimed E/I block since its inception in 2015.
